The Freemax Maxpod Portable Pod System has a comfortable zinc alloy chassis with acrylic inserts, allowing it to be a fairly lightweight device. The device features a draw activated fire system which provides a fluid like vaping experience.

The proprietary chip-set allows for easy manipulation of the device. In order to view the battery life, the device features a three step backlit LED light located in the center of the device. A white LED indicates 100% to 65%, blue indicates 65% to 30% and red indicates 30% to 0%.
Each Freemax Maxpod Replacement Pod has a 2ml e-juice capacity which can be used with freebase or nic salt e-liquid. The Pods are able to accept the Freemax Maxpod Replacement Coils which are available in two different atomizer resistances. Either 1.0 ohm or 1.5 ohm. Each re-fillable pod features a magnetic connection and fits neatly on top the device.
